I can kind of understand it from that standpoint, you're pointing the Wii remote at the screen and then you point it away, it wouldn't make much sense for it to act exactly like a mouse (ie: pointer stays locked to center while you're pointing off to the right or left).īut damn I wish they put in an option to lock the target to center and let it move like a mouse.

It does this because the Wii used the pointer as both free floating target, and joystick, to turn Samus. It's pretty bad because you have to keep re-centering the mouse, or your screen will continue turning in whichever direction the pointer is pointing.
